Challenge

Brew Lab had sold specialty coffee for three years, but the storefront still read like any other café. New customers walked past without knowing what waited inside.

The brief was not a prettier logo — it was making the care visible before anyone stepped through the door.

Approach

We spent two weeks talking with the owner and the baristas before drawing a single line.

The identity that emerged rests on precision — a strict grid, type that reads easily, a palette that stays calm. Every part says one word: care.

Project background

Brew Lab is a specialty coffee shop that has been operating for 3 years. Their existing identity didn't reflect the quality and care behind their product, so we did a full rebrand.

Process

We started by interviewing the owner, building a moodboard, and exploring multiple directions before settling on a warm and minimal approach.

Outcome

Three months after launch, new-customer traffic was up 40%, and the shop began to be spoken of as a destination rather than a stop along the way.

More than the numbers — the team now runs the system themselves, producing their own material without calling back to ask.
